Keeping Your Own Kids Safe Against Dangers On The Web

By Tony H Huggens

I have constantly been a lover of the Web. I have many jobs on the internet and they assist pay the bills. But my little ones are now maturing and, even when I persuade them to look for something informative or exciting to read on the Internet, I still worry about child Internet safety constantly.

My kids are responsible. I am aware of that. Though I trust them not to browse to websites that are not for them, I still installed a computer tracking software on each of our computers in the house, on all of their laptop computers and also on the 2 desktop computers which we have.

Internet tracking software provides us with the benefit of being aware of what our children do when they are using a computer.

It can keep track of almost anything carried out on the PC. This is like a live screenshot of all the actions done on the display of the computer.

What I got for us was the Intellispy computer tracking software. It could look at everything that was being entered on the keyboard. So, whenever my youngsters would log in to their emails, social networking sites as well as instant messaging tools, I'd know.

This can as well block Web sites which I feel is not suitable for my youngsters. This particular function of the software program is most useful considering that I do not want them having the opportunity to even see the homepage of adult Internet sites. Some advertisements in child-friendly sites possess a link to these and I do not want them navigated accidentally to those.

Also, screenshots can be obtained at 1-minute intervals and this is entirely stealth. The program can restart on its own following any kind of interruption. My youngsters do not know they are being monitored. At least, that way, they will not make the conscious effort of attempting to avoid something.

Children Internet protection is my concern right now. I am not constantly in the house to keep track of what they see on the Internet but, at last, something can do that for me.
