Ten Ways To Become An Intellectual Genius

By Darrel Jefferson

So you are looking at changing the way you think and becoming the new genius around. Here are ten ways to get you there faster than ever!

Without being to verbose, it may be as simple as meditating and taking the time out of your busy schedule to think about what has been going on around you.

It applies in every aspect of our lives. So here are some ways to improve our deductive reasoning. First- Don't be gullible! Now this seems obvious be Sherlock is famous for not falling into traps that other fall into. While superstitions surround him he keeps his cool and realizes that there is a reasonable explanation for most everything. This helps him take control of his emotions as most people make impulsive decisions out of fear, doubt, or anger.

There are hundreds of tacit things that surround us on a daily bases and if we don't open our senses to them then they will remain obscurities.

Fourth-Think before you talk. This is all but impossible for some people but if you learn to do this then you will have much more meaningful conversations. All it takes is a little foresight and understanding of people and words.

Third- Think Simple because its really quiet "elementary my dear Watson". Too many people complicate the world around them when there is an obvious and simple answer to most of the puzzling problems in the world today.

When we hear the word observant there are many synonyms that come mind such as cognizant, vigilant, watchful, alert, and attentive. All of these may bring a different feeling with them and can therefore help us in our efforts to create a more observant lifestyle.

Fourth-Curiosity doesn't kill that cat. If you are curious then you are ready to really dig deep and observe. Curiosity is really just the will to know and understand something as a whole. If you don't have that then you won't be able to motivate yourself to deduce things. Often times curiosity is the catalyst behind truly important discoveries.

Eighth- Work where you can use your mind on a constant bases. This will take away from the down time and give you the mental exercise you need.

Sixth-Talk through things with a trusted cohort. By talking things out you are able to dissect and understand things more fully.

Tenth- Network and find people that share in your desire to develop their intellectual prowess. Associate with those who can uplift and empower you. Too many people do just the opposite because they like how it feels to be the "smartest" one in the group, but if you want to progress it is better to get smarter people to be your friends.
