Philippe Van Den Bossche & The Potential Organic Expansion

By Rob Sutter

Health and food are two subjects which seem to be related to one another, as many will be able to help you. Philippe van den Bossche understands the importance of picking up some of the best products in any market but what do these entails? These days, it seems as though it is more of a matter of staying organic and picking up products that carry such a label. Of course, there is the idea of organic growth across the board to speak about as well.

The Washington Time Communities posted an article in regards to the predicted level of expansion that is linked to the various organic items on the market. It's been said - according to the U.S. Organic Food Market Forecast & Opportunities - that it will expand quite a bit in his country. From what I have picked up on, it will see a Compound Annual Growth Rate of around 14% during the time span from 2014 to 2018. It seems as though more naturally cultivated products are entering the market, which isn't too shocking.

I think that there is a greater level of familiarity with the products that have the support of Philippe van den Bossche. Yes, produce in general is in demand but what about various types of meat, fish and poultry being seen amongst them? It is clear that pesticides are still utilized and they are the types of substances that deserve the attention that is brought to them. This information, in my mind, is what various names should be able to bring to the forefront, Philippe included amongst them.

According to the article, about 1.1 billion pounds of pesticides active ingredients are being utilized on a yearly basis. While these ingredients can prove to be negatively impactful in terms of one's health, it is prudent to consider what they can do to the environment at large. One would consider that doing away with pesticides should be enough but, as you can see, such a move is not so easy. In addition, many markets have become dependent on them for the sake of cleaning various food items for the sake of preservation.

In my mind, it is worth noting the importance of organics more so than anything else. Yes, they may be seen as higher in price in various markets but the truth of the matter is that these are generally better in the long term. In addition, you do not have to limit yourself to just produce, even though it is one of the fields that Philippe van den Bossche can bring to your attention. It's a matter of expanding your horizons to see what exactly you will be able to find.
