For fans of the "Harry Potter" series, the title character has recently hit his 33rd birthday in their eyes. It's a time to celebrate, of course, especially considering that this particular character has become one of the most popular in literary history. However, as I look back on the series of books, I have to wonder if Hogwarts could have benefited from event security. Seeing as how more than a few mishaps have occurred within the school walls, I feel like this is fair to say.
You have to keep in mind that Harry has always found himself in trouble, or at least that's how it seemed to be. It's clear that Hogwarts is a much greater school than what is seen on the surface, which speaks volumes considering its tremendous scope as is. There's a field for playing Quidditch, of course, but there are also forests full of creatures worth talking about. There are many places to get lost and, as a result, many opportunities to stir the proverbial cauldron.
Teachers have to make sure that they have their eyes set on events that occur at all times. In "The Sorcerer's Stone," Harry had learned how to ride a broom along with the rest of his friends. However, this did not happen without Draco Malfoy causing a bit of commotion, utilizing the flight ability of his broom in order to taunt Harry. This was done without the teacher's consent and it is perhaps a smaller example in a whole group that can become rather sizely.
It's clear that companies along the lines of The Protective Group are hired and there are many reasons for this. No matter whether you're talking about school or what have you, all matters have to be regulated and this is where event security can come into play. While it is a strong line of work, is it possible that Hogwarts can put it into practice? As long as the best tools and abilities are utilized it, I believe that it can prove to be effective in the long term.
I don't think that anyone can argue against the idea of Hogwarts being a dynamic place of learning within the realm of fantasy. It's apparent that this school has so much going for it in terms of imagination but not everything is rosy on the surface. Underneath, more than a few problems have risen to the surface and they have come to confront not only Harry but those around him as well. I could only imagine that such matters would have been easier to handle had event security been present.
