By Sally Jessup

Most individuals who keep themselves updated in regard to technology may already have heard about 'cloud'. This is usually a virtual space and it's the place where data is kept, accessed or moved. This ensures that there is no need for storing an otherwise precious data in an in-house system which can be possibly fallible. Therefore, it is place for storing files as well as other items.

There are businesses that have a workforce of twenty and they have both a TI and a cable provider. The moment two staffs get on you tube, the bandwidth usually gets saturated and the calls get downhill. In such a case, what they need is a data connection that is separate so that it does not affect the phone system.

There is a need for the hoisted services to have a proper setup. Choosing to make use of a hosted provider who is second rate will tend to be your main undoing. For any hosted service, there is a need for you to have a sufficient bandwidth amount. There is also a need for the supplier or the centralized office to have pipes that are fat enough to be able to cope with the high traffic.

In regard to cost savings, the cloud based phone system can be phenomenal where they are deployed correctly. However, their downside is that incase the network of the business is horrible, it will face various issues which they will try to pass to the provider. They will complain about issues such as an echo in the phone, the phone constantly getting disconnected and not getting on the internet. All this blame will be heaped on the service provider. It is also important to note that where the internet connection is disrupted, there will neither be VoIP or SIP.

For instance, you can have a device such as a 3G dongle to act your backup or if its for smaller operations, you can make use of an ATA as this can be plugged into the analogue line, incase the network is down.

On top of this, there are no installment costs and the monthly prices that are usually set are far much lower. Therefore, there is no doubt that the cloud based phone system is the cheapest way of connecting any business place with the rest of the world.

Avoid over committing the business to one type of technology and you should be prepared to consider the different options that are available. Avoid also setting your expectations too high as you will end up getting disappointed. Instead, you should be realistic and therefore if problems arises you will not end up burning out and instead, you will remain energetic to overcome the problems.

When it comes to enhancing the professional image of a company and increasing its productivity, the cloud based phone systems play an important role. For various costs, there are different benefits that are offered by different companies. For this reason, there is a need for coming up with a list of the things that you need the business to benefit from. You should then match these needs with the different packages that are offered by the different companies. Therefore, it is without doubt that cloud based phone systems are important in ensuring that telecommunication is not only simple but also affordable.
