Not Being Fearful To Go Out Of Your Household Once Again

By Irra B Dubson

I was coming home late one afternoon when some guy jumped at me, aiming a dagger near to my waist. Panic took over me, so that he was able to take all my money as well as my cell phone.

Subsequently, I came to have a constant fear of leaving home. I could not even get myself to visit my cousin that lived close by for fright of facing yet another possible attack. As initial solution, I armed myself with some fogger self defense spray quickly.

I obtained the style from a neighbor which used 1/2 oz. defense sprays with colored injection-molded holster. Key chain defense sprays similar to these make it easy for you to get your own weapon in case a threat presented itself. Hers could dispense 6 to 10 one-second bursts that would affect an assailant within 6 to 8 feet. She even used this one time in shielding herself from a guy which attempted to mug her.

That was not my very first time, though, to have a much closer look at defense sprays. I had recognized they were non-lethal and utilizing them against anyone would not leave him with permanent injury.

A workmate, meanwhile, introduced camouflaged self defense sprays, to me. He had acquired a pepper pen that could leave an assailant with burning discomfort for up to 45 minutes. The concept of having a thing that looked exactly like a true pen encouraged him to acquire this.

Upon encountering a 2 oz. pepper fogger spray on the internet, I felt that this would be the perfect weapon. Its effective range of 10 to 12 feet through eight to ten one-second shots was good enough reason for me to possess one.

In case you had such powerful defense sprays, seeing an assailant gasping for air would just suggest that you had a fighting chance.

During the time I was mugged, I recall being pushed to a wall, slapped one time and cursed with words. Because of this, the encounter made me think of owning a pepper spray with stronger effects.
