Discover the Art of Leverage

By Mark Kreyman

A lot of people have the wrong idea about multi-level marketing. Many usually think it is creating as many guaranteed signups to beat their competition. It is not. Rather it is by knowing the art of leverage.

What Is Leveraging?

Leveraging is making the most of your resources to achieve more income without spending too much time and effort. It generally follows the Pareto principle: 80 percent of profit comes from 20 percent of your efforts.

To illustrate: Every day you get to sell 10 of the product worth $5. In other words, you earn $50 each day or $1,500 per month. On the other hand, if you happen to have 3 more people working for you and they sell also 10, then you can increase your income to $1,500 more -- and you obviously are not the one working!

How do you reach this stage?

One, find people who work hard. Never forget three things: commitment, passion, and desire. They shall be your guiding light in picking the network. Look for people who are interested in your business and are willing to buy and sell to their connections later.

Two, teach them the ways. Many MLM heads start to think they have the wrong people in their fold. Hence, they are not earning more. Could be. But another explanation is you are not showing them the ways to selling. Marketing degrees have almost no bearing in the ability to sell. It takes a lot of skills to do that. But as a mentor, share to them the right resources then develop their sales savvy.

Three, motivate them. You have been there before. Selling is never a walk in the park, especially if you already have several competitors and starting out. Your guaranteed signups are in that position today. Thus, constantly inspire them to not let rejections as well as challenges dampen their spirits.
